At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.

As Benefits Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting in all functions of the organization in employee benefits programs, leaves of absences, accommodation requests, and wellness initiatives; ensuring responsive service to employees, leveraging technology to ensure efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Benefits Management: Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, including though not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, tuition assistance, perks, etc..Process all billing, reporting, reconciliation, and check requests for all benefit vendors for Agency and Union plans. Work with finance to resolve billing issues related to benefits.

Leaves Management: Support the day-to-day administration of all employee leaves, including through not limited to: FMLA, PFL, Sick Leave, Safe Leave, COVID Leave, W/C, STD, Bereavement, Jury Duty, etc... Will work with third party vendor in managing leaves.

 

This is a HYBRID position, a portion of responsibilities may be accomplished remotely, it is required, however, to be consistently onsite to meet the demands of the position, for use of office equipment, to meet with employees if necessary, or to participate in trainings and events. Office location is 10595.

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or HS Diploma
  • At least 2-3 years benefits administration and leave management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and excellent ability to learn new software and databases
  • Expert in the legal requirements for FMLA, STD, LTD, Workers Comp, Paid-Family Leave, etc...
