Reports to: Commercial Energy Program Manager
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Location: Mount Kisco, NY / Hybrid (3 days/week in office, site visits as needed). Some travel is required.

Description:

The Program Coordinator will assist in the coordination and enhancement of the Commercial Decarbonization program. The candidate will have a strong interest in environmental issues and possess a working knowledge of commercial & multifamily buildings (functions, management, or development). 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate webinars and in-person events. 
  • Provide project management support to the department to help keep internal stakeholders aligned.
  • Remain informed of the  federal guidelines and requirements including but not limited to the EPA’s National Environmental Policy Act, the Build America Buy America and Davis-Bacon Acts, and the Community Benefits Plan.
  • Provide technical assistance to commercial building owners, schedule and coordinate energy audits, on-site visits, vendor interviews, and other activities as required.
  • Assist the Program Manager with data collection, entry, and analysis in energy monitoring platforms such as EnergyStar Portfolio Manager, BETTER, and others.
  • Develop simple training materials for circulation to stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing case studies for completed projects, maintaining website content, and providing social media content to marketing department. 
  • Maintain our CRM database of Heat Pump Manufacturers, Project Developers, Real Estate Developers, technical providers, municipal officials, trade groups, technical associations, chambers, Con Edison, and NYSERDA personnel (stakeholders).
  • Track nonprofits’ progress and vendor responses through CRM software and generate reports for DOE invoicing, coordinate with grant administration
  • Assist in grant applications as needed

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up to work on the Commercial Decarbonization Program. 
  • Familiarity with clean energy technologies such as heat pumps (geothermal, air source), building codes and standards, and/or Commercial Real Estate development experience, is preferred but not required.
  • We encourage candidates with Commercial Real Estate knowledge, experience and/or certifications to apply. (LEED, PMP, ASHRAE, or Commercial Real Estate Broker License).
