Job Overview of Clinician - Clinic Based Bilingual
The Bilingual (Spanish) Clinic-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) as the primary clinician to assigned clients as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of comprehensive mental health services.
Essential Duties of Bilingual Clinician-Clinic Based
Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records
- Provides a minimum of 20 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits
- Promotes integrated, person-centered care
- Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications
- Serves as on call clinician as scheduled during rotating basis
- Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice
Essential Qualifications of Bilingual Clinician-Clinic Based
Key qualifications include:
- Licensed or license-eligible professional (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT)
- NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred.
- Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent and families
- Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet session productivity standards
