Job Overview of Bilingual Clinician School Based-Yonkers 10 Month Program
The School-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) in the assigned school district. The School-Based Clinician engages with school personnel to assess and coordinate services and participate in activities for students and their families taking place during and after school hours.
Essential Duties of Bilingual Clinician School Based-Yonkers 10 month Program
Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records
- Provides at least 22.5 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits
- Promotes integrated, person-centered care
- Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications
- Serves as on call clinician as scheduled during rotating basis
- Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice
Essential Qualifications of Bilingual Clinician School Based-Yonkers 10 month Program
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum of one-year experience and licensed (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT). NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred.
- Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent and families
- Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Ability to meet session productivity standards

Physical/Travel Requirements
Must have ability to reach, walk, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, lift up to 20lbs, and able to travel. Driver’s license preferred.
