Fundraising Manager, Development

While the office location is in Purchase, this position will spend a majority of time in the community. Primary territory being Putnam County. Portions of the portfolio will include Westchester, Dutchess, Ulster, Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan counties. We also offer the flexibility to work from our Purchase Office, Poughkeepsie Office and/or from home when not in the community. 

As Manager of Development, you join an exclusive team of leaders responsible for the implementation of Walk to End Alzheimer’s^®, the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research and Subzero Heroes, which is exclusive to the Hudson Valley and one of our most unique campaigns.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s^® ranks as the second-largest peer-to-peer fundraising event in the United States and continues to set the pace as one of the fastest-growing walk events in the country. Subzero Heroes has been going strong for more than 15 years and invites participants to jump into icy waters to support our mission.

Utilizing your proven networking and relationship-building skills to cultivate key community connections, you will drive success and achieve revenue goals by strategically identifying and engaging community and corporate leaders and building and empowering sustainable volunteer committees.

As a successful fundraising leader who will manage Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Subzero Heroes peer-to-peer fundraising events you will generate excitement and enthusiasm in your communities. You will coach and inspire your volunteers to implement and build on proven strategies and best practices that result in event growth year over year. You will be responsible for a revenue portfolio of approximately $350,000, with your primary territory for the Walk being Putnam County. Portions of the portfolio will include Westchester, Dutchess, Ulster, Rockland, Orange and Sullivan counties.  You will have some specific responsibility to assist with the Westchester Walk, with a revenue goal attached to that responsibility.
