Job Title: Marketing/Communications Intern

Reports to: Pastor Steve Norton and Principal Jeremiah Joseph 

Location: St John The Baptist Most Holy Trinity St Ann’s

Position Type: Hybrid intern 

Start Date: September 2025 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Media Manager to oversee and manage all communications and digital presence for both our parish and school. This individual will play a key role in unifying our message and brand across all platforms, ensuring consistency, clarity, and engagement with our community. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Website Management: 

○ Regularly update and maintain the parish and school website with accurate, engaging, and timely content. 

○ Ensure all web content reflects current events, ministries, announcements, and educational updates. 

  • Social Media Management: 

○ Keep the parish and school “alive” and active on Facebook, Instagram, and/or other platforms that best serve our community. 

○ Create and schedule engaging content that reflects the mission and events of the parish and school. 

○ Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries or messages as appropriate. ● Weekly Bulletin Coordination: 

○ organize content for the weekly parish bulletin. 

○ Prepare and submit the final version 

○ Ensure the bulletin is also uploaded digitally to the website and/or social platforms. 

  • Brand Consistency & Strategy: 

○ Offer ideas and strategies to strengthen the overall branding and messaging of the parish and school. 

○ Help create templates, themes, or visual standards to unify announcements, event promotions, and digital posts. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in social media management, communications, or marketing ● Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). ● Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet weekly deadlines.
  • A collaborative spirit and understanding of the parishes values and mission. Preferred Skills: 
  • Photography and/or videography for events and campaigns. ● Familiarity with design software or platforms. 
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and suggest improvements. ● Ability to work independently and also collaborate when needed ● Ability to communicate well
