About the Role
TAP is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Executive Assistant to the CEO to support executive leadership and strengthen day-to-day operations at a growing national nonprofit.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role provides high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO while partnering closely on internal processes, project coordination, and strategic initiatives. You will help drive executive efficiency, ensure strong follow-through across priorities, and support cross-functional work that advances TAP’s mission.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is excited to learn, grow, and gain hands-on exposure to nonprofit leadership and operations. You will work closely with—and receive mentorship from—the CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff while developing foundational skills in project management, executive support, and organizational leadership.
This is a full-time, remote-first NYC metro-area position, with at least one in-person management team meeting per month and company-wide retreats up to twice per year in Westchester County. Candidates must reside in the NYC metro area.

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Strategically manage the CEO’s calendar, ensuring thoughtful prioritization of internal meetings, external engagements, and organizational commitments
- Manage the CEO’s inbox, including drafting correspondence, tracking follow-ups, and ensuring timely communication
- Anticipate executive needs and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce administrative burden
- Prepare agendas and briefing materials for internal and external meetings in collaboration with the Chief of Staff
- Conduct research and prepare briefing documents on organizations, individuals, and opportunities relevant to the CEO’s work
Operations, Development & Data Support
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records for the CEO, including contacts, communications, and activity tracking
- Support donor outreach and stewardship efforts, including coordinating communications and tracking follow-up actions
- Coordinate logistics for in-person meetings, including monthly management team meetings and bi-annual board meetings
- Contribute to cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment, including initiatives related to TAP’s Spring Benefit
- Support the Chief of Staff with project tracking, follow-ups, and internal communications
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO, operations, and internal and external stakeholders
- Exercise sound judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills in daily operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 2–4 years of experience in administrative support, operations, or a related role
- Strong interest in building a career in operations or organizational leadership
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort learning new tools and systems (Salesforce experience a plus)
- High level of discretion and maturity in handling confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$60,000, commensurate with experience
- Discretionary, performance-based bonuses may be offered
- Generous PTO + 10 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays
