Application Deadline: May 22, 2026

POSITION SUMMARY

The Development Manager, Annual Giving & Revenue Programs is a key member of the Development team responsible for advancing ArtsWestchester’s earned and contributed revenue strategies through individual giving, donor cultivation, and revenue-generating programs. This role integrates annual giving & appeals, donor pipeline management, and CRM oversight with the coordination of gallery-based revenue events and rentals, ensuring that all income-generating activity supports long-term fundraising goals.

The role oversees the logistical coordination of events and rentals in ArtsWestchester’s gallery, with an emphasis on efficiency, revenue optimization, and donor engagement, rather than large-scale event production. Working closely with the Chief Development Strategist, this position plays a central role in strengthening donor acquisition and retention, converting program participants and event attendees into donors, and managing systems that support sustainable fundraising growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Annual Giving & Appeals

  • Plan and execute ArtsWestchester’s annual appeals program, including Spring, Fall, and Year-end appeals.
  • Collaborate with the Development Strategist on appeal strategy, messaging, timing, and delivery across platforms (email, mail, social media, digital donation pages).
  • Track appeal performance, donor response, and retention metrics; prepare summary reports and insights.

Donor Cultivation, Stewardship & Pipeline Development

  • Manage ongoing cultivation and stewardship of individual donors at entry and mid-level tiers.
  • Develop donor touchpoints that build engagement beyond solicitations, including impact communications and stewardship messaging.
  • Capture and manage donor and prospect data from public programs and signature events.
  • Develop systems to move constituents from participant to prospect to donor.
  • Identify donors with potential to upgrade and flag them for deeper engagement or major gift cultivation.
  • Support timely acknowledgments and meaningful follow-up to improve donor retention and relationship building.

CRM & Donor Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the organization’s CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT.
  • Manage data hygiene for individual donors, including contact information, giving history, and engagement notes.
  • Support donor segmentation for appeals, communications, and stewardship.
  • Generate regular reports on donor activity, acquisition, retention, and giving trends.

Revenue-Generating Events & Gallery Rentals

  • Coordinate scheduling, contracting, and logistics for revenue-generating events and third-party rentals in ArtsWestchester’s gallery and related spaces.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between ArtsWestchester, clients, and third-party vendors (including external catering partners).
  • Ensure smooth handoff of event details to vendors and internal teams.
  • Oversee event calendars, contracts, and revenue tracking related to rentals and gallery-based events.
  • Coordinate sponsor fulfillment and visibility for sponsored programs in collaboration with the Development team.

Cross Departmental Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with the Development Strategist to align annual giving and revenue programs with broader fundraising goals.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Programs, and Communications staff to integrate donor engagement and data capture into public-facing activities.
  • Collaborate with the Special Events & Membership Manager on CRM management, supporting accurate donor records, data hygiene, segmentation, and documentation to ensure individual giving, appeals, and cultivation efforts are effectively tracked in Raiser’s Edge NXT.
  • Support donor analysis and reporting by assisting with tracking donor activity, acquisition, retention, and engagement trends, and ensuring relevant donor interactions and pipeline notes are documented to inform development strategy.
  • Ensure ArtsWestchester marketing and donor materials are present at events as appropriate.
  • Support special projects related to development strategy, donor engagement, and revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, arts administration, or revenue-generating programs.
  • Experience with donor appeals, donor engagement, or CRM systems.
