Executive Director

We are Foundational Services, LLC and we are assisting a nonprofit early childhood education program in Westchester County, New York.  We are conducting a confidential search for an Executive Director to lead the child care center/school.

The Executive Director will:

• Oversee the overall administration and daily operations of the center, including supervision of programs, staff, and services for young children and their families
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing child care and early childhood education.
• Lead budgeting and fiscal oversight, support fundraising efforts, and cultivate strong community partnerships.
• Work closely with the Board of Directors on strategic planning, program quality, and long‑term sustainability.

We are seeking an experienced, mission‑driven leader with:

• Significant background in early childhood education, child care, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated management experience (staff supervision, operations, and budgeting) in a nonprofit, school, or human‑services setting.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with families, staff, and community partners.
• Ability to lead resource development efforts, including securing Federal Head Start/Early Head Start funding, State and county contracts, Grants and private philanthropy
